Clark Dietz is pleased to announce that Champaign-based PE, Nicholas Rademacher, has won the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Central Illinois Section’s Young Civil Engineer of the Year Award!
Nicholas began his career at Clark Dietz in 2018 as a summer intern after his junior year at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Following his internship, Nicholas accepted a full-time position in May 2019. Upon his employment, Nicolas began pursuing a certificate in Land Surveying at Parkland College. He deftly balanced his full-time responsibilities with his schoolwork and passed his Surveyor Intern exam in preparation for obtaining his Professional Land Surveyor license, while concurrently working to obtain his Professional Engineering license. Nicholas is responsible for a wide-range of civil and environmental engineering services for Clark Dietz’s valued Clients.
“As much as he is proficient with many different technical skills, Nicholas has also demonstrated leadership both within and outside of Clark Dietz. Nicholas leads our office social committee and is excellent at bringing us together for enjoyable events. In the past several years, he has presented at state-wide conferences in the water and wastewater field such as the Illinois AWWA WATERCON and the IWEA’s Illinois Wastewater Professionals Conference. Nicholas has already made a great impression in the civil engineering field,” said Clark Dietz Vice President and Central Illinois Area Manager, Andrea Bretl, PE.
We are confident in Nicholas’s ability to offer his leadership in the civil engineering profession, and we extend our firm’s congratulations to him on this significant Award.
