Contracted by the Town of Clarksville, Indiana, Clark Dietz’s objective is to collaborate with Town officials, local stakeholders, and the public to develop a town-wide transportation plan that considers vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit.
“The Connecting Clarksville Thoroughfare Plan will seek to improve connectivity throughout the town for all modes of transportation,” said Project Manager Ryan Hughes, PE. “We don’t use a ‘cut-and-paste’ approach; our goal is to provide Clarksville with a unique document that directly addresses the Town’s goals, challenges, and opportunities.”
“Complete streets means all methods of transportation are considered in new projects (like bikes, pedestrian, public transit and vehicle). This project will create the framework that will guide the development of new infrastructure as well as upgrading and rebuilding old infrastructure,” said Town Manager Kevin Baity.
Clark Dietz and our project partners are known for our design quality and commitment to community involvement.
“Clarksville residents often say that they want to have more input in how our Town operates,” said Communications Director Ken Conklin.
A community meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2023 at the Clarksville Library from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We’re excited to continue our working relationship with Clarksville residents.
