It is with heartfelt gratitude and best wishes that we congratulate Doug Wolf on his retirement from Clark Dietz! Doug joined Clark Dietz in 2019, bringing with him extensive experience in the construction industry from both the contractor’s and inspector’s perspective. Over his remarkable career, Doug served as a construction supervisor for heavy construction contractors, leading crews on projects ranging from utility improvements to interstate road and bridge reconstruction. Most recently, Doug contributed his expertise as a construction inspector on municipal projects, ensuring that construction matched the design intent by meticulously documenting daily activities, calculating pay and material quantities, and reviewing plans and specifications.

Prior to joining Clark Dietz, Doug held leadership roles with Walsh Construction Company and Kokosing/Fru-Con LLC, where he gained a reputation for his professionalism, knowledge, and ability to navigate complex projects. At Clark Dietz, Doug was based out of our Evansville, Indiana office, where he made a lasting impact on our Indiana Construction Team and the projects he supported.

“Doug’s dedication, skill, and wealth of experience have been invaluable to our team,” shared Jon Howaniec, SHRM-CP, Vice President and HR Director. “His steady leadership and commitment to quality have set a high standard. While we’ll miss his contributions, we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with him.”

Whether overseeing construction efforts of varied scope and scale, or diving into the details of plan reviews, Doug’s work has consistently exemplified excellence.

“Doug Wolf has built a career constructing enduring, transformative infrastructure projects, including the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River East End bridge,” said Regional Director Kevin Hetrick, PE. “For the past several years, it has been an honor to have Doug’s decades of heavy civil construction experience on the Clark Dietz team, and we wish him an outstanding retirement!”

Congratulations to Doug on a career well-spent and a retirement well-earned!
