Congratulations to the City of New Albany, Indiana on receiving the Kentuckiana Regional Planning & Development Agency (KIPDA)’s Kentucky-Indiana Transportation Excellence (KITE) Award for the East Main Street Revitalization project!
The transformative project improves connections, aids accessibility, and enhances infrastructure critical to the community’s identity. Features of the improvements include pedestrian safety and the overall visual appeal on the Main Street corridor from State Street to East Fifth Street.
KIPDA provides regional planning, review and technical services in the areas of public administration, social services and transportation, and offers recognition to projects that “soar” above the rest.
