Kevin Risch, PE
Project Manager/Municipal Engineer, Wisconsin
Mr. Risch is a well-respected individual with over 24 years of both Municipal and Transportation engineering experience. During this time frame, he has had the distinct privilege of learning and understanding the challenges that communities are faced with from year to year due to aged roadways and failing underground utility infrastructure. Mr. Risch learned a great deal of this experience while serving as Assistant City Engineer with the City of Kenosha for over 7 years. More than 5 years ago he joined Clark Dietz and has been a vital instrument to many other communities in southeastern Wisconsin where he continues to share his knowledge and experience.
Mr. Risch has been intimately involved in a wide range of engineering projects as well as project management. Kevin has participated in projects that have a construction cost of $1,000 to a construction cost of $15,000,000 which illustrates that there is no project too small or too big for him.
The following are some of the project disciplines Mr. Risch has experience with:
- Rural project design
- Urban project design
- Traffic engineering
- 4-way stop warrants
- Signalization warrants
- Pavement marking layout
- Storm sewer design
- Sanitary sewer and watermain design
- Roadway/highway geometric design
- Lighting design
- Pavement design
- Parking lot layout design
- Public involvement
- Utility coordination and WDNR permitting
- Construction management/inspection
- Even bleacher structural inspection
Just as Mr. Risch focuses and pays close attention to the needs of every client he serves, he also does the same outside of work. Whether volunteering for projects like building a Dream Playground in the community or giving his time towards designing, permitting, and building a garage for individuals who cannot afford it, or serving on missionary projects in hurricane impacted communities, Kevin makes it his objective to help wherever there is a need.
