Jerald T. Payonk, PE
Chairman of the Board
As Director of Engineering, Mr. Payonk’s goal is to sustain high performing engineering teams. He provides the resources, information, and motivation to allow every individual to continually increase their knowledge, performance, and value to our client base. Jerry also oversees all operations in the State of Illinois.
Jerry is an Illinois registered professional engineer specializing in traffic calming and capacity analysis, environmental assessment, geometric design, and streetscape, and brings a high level of technical expertise in every aspect of transportation engineering.
After attaining his BSCE from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Jerry spent the next six years as a Project Engineer in the IDOT/District 5 office of planning and design before joining Clark Dietz in 1990. He currently serves on our Board of Directors and Executive Committee, actively supports his local Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Risk Management Committee for ACEC-Illinois, and serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Art Theater Co-op in Champaign, Illinois.
