Project Engineer
Mr. Powers’ experience includes leading stormwater analysis and design projects. His experience in the water resources field includes storm, sanitary and potable water projects involving scoping studies, preliminary design, final design, and construction services. Mr. Powers’ transportation related drainage experience includes designing culverts, detention ponds, grading ditches, BMPs, and evaluating bridge hydraulics. Brian has become skilled with computer models used for floodplain management and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis. Some of these modeling tools include SWMM5, XP-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and others. He has been involved as a project engineer with utility master plans, community long term control plans, culvert analysis, floodplain analysis, and new storm and sanitary sewer design.
